I wanted to share an Internet find that I ran across the other day...... I just can't stop wanting one to hang around my neck!
These are made by a gal named Lisa who also writes a wonderful blog that I've been catching up on and am in love with. She also makes many more different pieces of silver jewelry that she designs and hand makes....... you really need to go see them...... here....... seeeee what I mean?
The necklace above she is offering during the month of July for only $38.00 .......... $10.00 of which she is donating to a charity near and dear to her heart. Please go check it out....... I'll be shopping there as soon as my checking account fills back up! I want the Grandmother necklace but with Blessed on it with all of our names on it....... Darren, Judi, Cole, Kavin & Amelia. Oh yeah, it'll be mine soon....... soon.
On the fabric front....... I ordered some Aunt Grace reproductions and about four civil war reproductions for the shop. I also ordered some yummy triple scented candles to hang out and make the shop smell nice. Our phone and Internet was hooked up yesterday and today I've received our cellophane bags and tissue paper to send our online orders out with. We plan to wrap the orders and tie them up nice and ship them in a clear cellophane bag to keep them clean and fresh. I personally love to receive something I've bought and have it arrive looking special....... that' s what we plan on doing! I'm still waiting for my Free Spirit, Windham and Alexander Henry fabrics that were shipped out Monday and Tuesday....... you'll hear a few squeals from us no matter where you are in the world, believe you me!
I'm off to the doctors office with my Amelia Claire. She was a fussy girl last night during my birthday cake to which I blew off as her being tired but of course...... after me fussing at her she started feeling hot. Why do kids do that to us? Act all wacky and bratty ....... enough to make us fuss at them and BAM......... fever? Kills me..... truly it does!
She ran a good fever all night and then later this morning started saying boo boo and pointing to her ear. I'm thinking after the swimming we did, she may have gotten some water stuck in there and it's running amuck in her tubes. So at the moment she is sleeping with some motrin, her baby and her Daddy's blanket and will be gathered up and stuck in the old car seat for a 45 minute drive to Waycross to her Pediatrician.
Have a great day!
Feel better little one! Poor thing!! Yep, mine are always on my last nerve and THEN I discover they were ill!!
I can't wait to order my first, sweetly bundled fabric from your shop!!
(I saw that necklace a few weeks ago too and fell in love with it!)
Have a great day!
