Mother's Day has a whole new meaning this year.
We are so unbelievably happy she is still here with us, after having such a tough year regarding her health.

I can honestly say that she is the strongest, smartest, most cunning, nuturing and talented Mother I've ever known.
I love you Mom....
and I am proud to be your daughter.
Next week,
we move.
And I will be able to have my sewing inside our home rather than outside.
It's gonna be so nice.
sigh.
I am lucky enough to be "inheriting" a desk from my sons girlfriend's Mom's bestfriends roomates, Uncle Nick.
(Just kidding about the bestfriends Uncle Nick.)

Isn't is the BEST idea ever? It's the perfect size and has tons of drawers!
I'll be sure to take before & after shots of the desk AND the room.
(The walls are going to be aqua/turquoise and curtains!!)
